About Jeff Robinson
I have been enjoying photography for many years and I received my first SLR camera, a Pentax K1000, in 1978. Since that time I have owned many cameras from point and shoot to D-SLR. I am retired from the US Air Force and I currently live in a small town near Dallas Texas. My professional work life has taken me to many places throughout the United States and to many countries on several continents. I have experienced the extreme cold in the northern area of Finland, within a few miles of the Arctic Circle in January, to having lived in Bahrain (the Middle East) enduring the intense heat in the summer. I am a graduate of the New York Institute of Photography and I have studied photography at Virginia Intermont College. In addition, I have a A.A.S. Degree in Aerospace. I have taken numerous photography and photo editing seminars over the years. My images have been published by the United States Air Force, Lockheed Martin and the Fort Worth Zoo. Awards include: BetterPhoto, Photoshowdown, Digital Image Café, Shutterbugs, Kodak and the Texas State Fair. My wife Leena and I are members and photography volunteers at the Fort Worth Zoo and we also volunteer providing digital images for our hometown website and the towns monthly/yearly publications. In the bag: Canon 5D MK IV & MK II, EOS 50D and a Canon EOS M. Lenses include Canon 100-400L IS, 70-200L IS, EF 24-105L IS, Canon 100mm L Macro and a Lensbaby 2.0.
