Prelude to the Great Escape

Uploaded: March 09, 2010

Description

---
Another scanned and "doctored" image from a resurrected old photo album. The stroller baby is the eldest step grandchild who was not yet a year old in this shot from circa 1985. The dogs flanking him are the same two from yesterday's balcony shot.
----------
Less than two years later, we were babysitting this fellow while his parents were away for a long weekend in Florida. The boy, on Sunday, had been checking out the lock mechanisms on the sliding doors leading to our back deck.
---
Monday morning, while I was at work, and his granddad was in another room--the boy and his accomplices escaped and disappeared.
------
Police finally found them--all three sitting on the grassy median in the middle of busy U.S. Hightway #1.
-----
Cloned some extraneous stuff out, and used the new TOPAZ ADJUST 4 Dark Charcoal filter.

Michelle- My friend, what a treasure you have in that photo album. I hope there are many more of these as I am so enjoying this series. Your talent and creative nature sure do come into play. Love the black and white and the treatment you used. The title is right on as that is what this young lad and his sidekicks look like they are planning. High Quality work girl.
Have a marvelous day and take care. Thank you so much for your kind and uplifting comments. #8443354
