Congratulations on your 2nd place win! I love the colors. Some would say to crop off the right, but I love the blank space! Really makes the flower stand out. #2217366Donna W. Neal December 24, 2005

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. After viewing some of the winners, it is somewhat humbling to win a second place award. #2223684Vinubhai Desaibhai Patel January 01, 2006
Don, you deserve as many congratulations as many as one can give. I think that Charlottesville Flower is a Chinese Woolflower. Botany calls it Celosia plumosa. It's a strange coincidence that you can view the same flower with almost the same background at image no. 94 in my premium gallery on this web site. Strange are the ways of God, Don! #2240165Cathy M. Thank you Manuel. I appreciate your kind words, especially since you had to search to find this image that I posted almost two years ago. An oldie but a goodie! #4703439Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
