Into The Blue

Uploaded: September 16, 2011

Description

The interior of a tall, wrapped-wire, floor-standing 'vase' in a hotel lobby. They were interesting as sculptural shapes, and I wondered what the
inside looked like. They're about 60" tall, so I couldn't easily aim over the edge to the interior. I tried a few blind shots, holding my camera above
the opening, pointing down the throat of the vase. The metal wires are sort of dull silver; I added the blue tint. A full-view is in the discussion thread.

These are both very cool, Chris. I love the result of your blue version but what pretty lines and textures the black and white has, too. Nicely seen (or unseen as the case may be). #9674018

Hehehe... Thank you very much, Ellen!
I don't know what prompted me to look inside, myself... but I'm glad I did. I have another similar view, slightly different angle, rendered in a vivid green, that I'll post next month, probably. #9678299
