So this is kind of what I was going for with the last photo, even though I don't like the framing on this one as much. #1380425

Josh, for me this composition
communicates low energy. I liked
your Train 2 over Train 1.
What exactly are you trying to
communicate with this image?

If you didn't like the framing on
this image, does it make sense to
go ahead and upload it? What could
you have done to re-frame it?

I find it interesting that would submit a comment like this. No one should be discouraged from uploading an image he/she might be 100 percent satisfied with. Many times something that disinterests one person may emotionally touch another. Even greater it could lead to a EP or greater.

This image was a follow up on the last image that essentially was rained-out. #9430580

Josh, the colors in the photo are really nice. I wonder if you could crop it up so that the train is the main focus of the picture. Even though the greens are absolutely beautiful they are distracting from the train. I am not sure if that is what you are going for but it might be worth a try.

Josh, thanks for communicating back to
me about my comment on your Train 1 Image.

It sounds like I may have upset you by
hurting your feelings by my comment
on your Train 1 image.

My intent wasn't to discourage you
from uploading any image that you
liked.

My comment was on your composition
and your placement of the train to
the far right and the rest of the
frame was the green field.

Whereas your Train 2 filled your whole
frame, which I liked.

I picked up on your comment under your
Train 1 which you said, "So this is
kind of what I was going for with the last photo (Train 2), EVEN THOUGH
I DON'T LIKE THE FRAMING ON THIS ONE
AS MUCH.

From there I thought if you didn't like
the framing on this one, why didn't
you come up with a better framing.

By all means, keep uploading all of
your favorite images. At the same
time, I will critique your images
just you do mine; that is how we
grow as photographer.

Give us your best shot!
