The Long Ride Home

Don’t know where to store your hub caps? Try a Cadillac Hearse. But, a funny (or strange) thing happened after I took this photo. Notice that the door on the left is open. It was very calm today, no wind at all, and no one was at this junkyard but me (with permission from the owner of course), but when I circled back to leave, I walked past this hearse and the door was closed!! Not by me … but who? Did someone want to be sure I could see inside? I found this hearse on a 20 acre junkyard in Shelby, North Carolina. I don't know about the hub caps, but as a photographer, I was in pure heaven.
The image was enhanced with Viveza and Color Efex Pro software to bring out the soul and character of the Cadillac and hub caps.
