My Birthday Night. Nov 4th.
This Image Has Been Altered Quite a Bit.

First I used curved to lighten my face.
(This removes wrinkles by the way)
Then I save it. Used curves again to darken it.
(This brought back richness and darkness but not wrinkles!)
Then I used PSE7 and used the wand TOOL to protect ME and UN-PROTECT the background!!!
THEN I went to my filters and chose fractalius. A Paid Plug In.
Used the filter in all different ways,
saving them all to see which I liked best.
I then used te healing tool and smudge to different degrees on the face and really cleaned it up. I added eye lashes and then had to tone it down a bit. They are tricky to make. I spent a lot of time on them. They were too thick at the tips and too thick in general so I pulled some skin tones down in thin trips at about 75% strength on the brush to try and save them from looking too bad. Looks like STAGE MAKE UP NOW. Goes with the head dressing! :D

You're quite welcome, Lyn...and I know just how you feel. I felt the same way until I got it. I have never grown tired of it either. Poor MAC users! :(

In my opinion, your original, is really quite attractive as is, no need to edit! Now that I said that, amazing work and use of filters. I really like the Frac. filter and the final image is awesome, great work, Laura! #9058113

I think the original was great like Milleanne said. frac is a wonderful tool for pc users. I wasn't happy either when I found out they have no intention of making it mac compatible. But I found a way to have the best of both. I like the idea of stage makeup but the only thing I would do is to make the face a little bit darker a little bit to yellow, everything else is great. If you can make eye lashes and remove wrinkles you have a lot of patience. By the way can you get rid of gray hair? #9059930

Hi Kalena and Irene! I have been playing dress up all of my life. It's so fun! :D And now with the age of digital and DDR...OH! ANOTHER MEDIUM to have fun with!

I sure agree with the yellow skin that Patricia mentioned...I tried to change it in PSE7 but nothing looked realistic. Maybe I could have used a turquoise for fun...Skip realistic! A!

White and turquoise can symbolize energy. It's a fantasy image...so maybe I should try it? Thanks again Pat. You backed up what I had been thinking all along about it..Those tones just come out on my face all the time. Yellows.

Irene, my Hubby surprised me with a LIMO! I felt like a REAL movie star! It was so fun for him to do this! Did you see the pictures I added to Nancyj's thread on her gallery? She made me a birthday card and the photos are in there towards the bottom! HeeHee! I sure got spoiled this year. That was likley my one and only LIMO!

Someone on this club asked me how I change the COLORS of images in PS. I cant find the comment...Darn it!
If you are connected here the way I do it is through ADOBE PSE7.

I go to:

ENHANCE
ADJUST COLOR ---> ADJUST HUE/SATURATION
