G'day *JEFF*!How else would you photograph this giant cactus? 8-)
But what is more the point is that you have photographed it sooooo well mate.
You chose a time with fantastic clouds to support the subject and to give you glorious light, you have used the point of view very well indeed and made a great composution and you have made good use of a long depth of field.
The B&W processing has been handled expertly, displaying good contrast and tonal range.
A standout.
