Standing under the magnificent blue tiled "awning" at the top of the front steps of the Trenton (New Jersey State Capitol) War Memorial building, looking out toward the State House.
-------
The sky was blown out in my original so I picked one from my collection. I was happily surprised by the way it turned out.
------------
Had to do a lot of work to patch up broken, cracked tiles and pitted masonry. The building, which houses the Patriot Theater, is in dire need of sprucing--Memorial plaques are fading badly, and the close-up views are so disappointing. Sadly, although New Jersey taxes have been among the highest in the country, there aren't funds available for maintaining its historic buildings, I guess. I hope this image conveys the potential majesty of this structure.

What wonderful design elements are displayed here, Michelle...this structure really does look very majestic from this pov!! :o)Isn't it a shame that it's not as easy - and cheap! - to fix the actual building as it was for you here in PS, or similar?!! ;o/ #8688601
