DD entry. A border perennial in my yard with an ugly name... Scabiosa. I'll upload the Raw File. Lots of layers with various grunge brushes using varying opacities, colors, textures and blend modes.

Boy, I'll ditto JoAnn's comment 5 times over...excellent work - just astounding the difference between the two...but as usual, Marty said it best - what you did here is nothing short of inspirational! In all honesty, the most excellent, creative and beautiful end result could not have been accomplished without the technical expertise shown in that raw image to begin with...so kudos on all counts...you made a better photo, better!! (I call them pin cushion flowers...just can't bring myself to say "scabiosa"! :) #8609398
