It is sometimes downright eerie to see another shot SO close to one of my own, and to look at YOURS and think it is a great shot, but just think Ah, it's okay , when looking at my own! #2021466Andrea W. Hedgepeth November 01, 2005
WOW, this is great! #2021999Carolyn J. Connolly November 01, 2005
GORGEOUS closeup capture, Aaron!!! BEAUTIFUL details in the feathers and the eye, EXQUISITE colours and lighting, and, PERFECT composition!! :o) #2022921Sara And Dick November 01, 2005
Excellent image!!!! WE love flamingos and have a few close ups, not as close as yours. The composition is wonderful, applying the rule of thirds by placing the eye of the subject on the left top corner looking into the picture, not out of it. We recently won an honorable mention in an International Photography Awards competition with a very similar photograph, which also had gotten a semi-finalist here at BetterPhoto. Good luck - looks like a winner to us! Dick & Sara #2024708Aaron Wilbert November 01, 2005
Thank you everyone for your comments. This has been one of my favorites. Decided to put it in again, and this time it has caught many eyes. Thanks! #2024882Michael Marsh November 07, 2005
