This was one of those times that you beg a child for just a few more shots. Hannah was over being shot, but we asked for just a few more shots in her coat. This was the last shot of the day.
f8, 1/320, studio (two photogenic 160s, one with a brolly box as hairlight, one with a 5' octabox as a main light), custom WB with Expodisk, ISO 200, Fred Miranda Velvia filter.

Very nice portrait shot Donamarie. You captured her well! She has such piercing blue eyes! I think you should have told her to wet her lips though. They seem dry and I think if her lips were moist it would give her face more "bang"? JMO though!Congrats on the finals, and good luck! :-) #2117639

Very nice portrait, Donamari. What kind of brolly do you use? I just bought 2 novatron monolights that came along with 2 nylon umbrellas. but I don`t like them very much. I set up WB in autoand the photos get redish. I would appreciate some advices.Sign up for an interactive online photography course to get critiques on your photos.
