From a photo shoot yesterday. When I applied shadow recovery to the backlit original I immediately noticed that the flowers were vividly reflected in the polarizer. I selected that area and increased the brightness and contrast slightly. I then replaced the sky with the sky from a shot taken minutes earlier. Then I noticed that the foreground flowers were just not as sharp as they should be so I replaced them with flowers also shot just a few moments before. Now I am happy---the photo shows things as they really were. The photographer is my brother and favorite photographic partner

Thank you Connie for visiting my gallery and commenting. it gives me a chance to view your gallery and I am impressed with your diverse array of beautiful imagery. Reading what you did to achieve the results on this particular image may seem excessive to some but not to me. The results here are well worth it. Par excellence!!! I'm a firm believer that what the camera can't achive, the software can. That is why I work so hard at trying to learn them both. You have achieved artistry in both!!! #1933726Katherine Kuhn November 21, 2005
WOW! What you do with an image totally blows me away! I'm completely impressed & will stay that way while I muck around in the basics. This all sounds quite magician-like to me! #2104009Judy V. Kennamer June 07, 2006
