The main staircase at Chambord, one of the best known chateaux of the Loire Valley in France, is said to have been designed by (or constructed after a design by) Leonardo da Vinci. A double helix staircase, it is both an impressive architectural feat and great fun to explore with a friend.
What you see here is NOT what you would see were you to visit this castle, but rather a vertical photo of part of one side, mirrored and composited into this horizontal.

This is a great choice for mirroring and resulting architectural fascination. Excellent choice for black and white as well. #11761700Emile Abbott May 22, 2019
