I like it! The dramatic steam against the blue sky and the bright color of the smoke stack are great! The title is fantastic, Paul! #213767Paul Conlan February 09, 2005
Thank you for your comments Jim. I'm pleased you like the photo. It was shot on a cold morning (for GA) and with morning light. Best wishes... #1093140Roger Bernabo February 09, 2005
I love this shot Paul, what a powerful image of a necessary remnant of the industrial age #1093244Paul Conlan February 09, 2005
Roger... I'm glad you like it. It is an interesting place to shoot with its many railroad tracks, lines of coal cars, large buildings, massive heat exchangers, conveyors, ponds, proximity to the Chattahoochee River, etc. But... since 9/11 they don't always welcome photographers with open arms. So one must be discrete. A telephoto lens helps too! Best wishes... #1093258Colette M. Metcalf February 09, 2005

Congratulations on this win Paul. Well deserved. I am surprised they let you take pictures anywhere near a power plant. Since 911 they are so picky around here what you can and cannot take pictures of #1187771Evy Johansen March 18, 2005
Big congratulations on this awesome win, Paul!! Very well deserved! #1187982Paul Conlan March 18, 2005
Thank you Donna and Evy for your congratulations. I took this photo from a public road using my telephoto lens. I've tried to get on the grounds proper and they wouldn't let me in. I do have a friend that works there so I may try that in the future. Thanks again and best wishes... #1188276Karen Engelbreth March 18, 2005
