Test #1 with iPad's Photoshop Touch - Grand Te

Uploaded: March 05, 2012 21:39:20

Description

This is my first test on my iPad with the new Adobe Photoshop Touch app. Made from two images I made during a trip to the Grand Tetons last fall. With my iPad I used the app's adjustment layers, masks, blending modes and opacities. The foreground image, with the green-yellow trees, was a painting-with-light done in-camera using flashlight during a 30" exposure. The back image was the next morning at dawn in a different part of the Tetons area.

VERY cool image, Karen. Excellent composite shot, perfectly composed. Fascinating to imagine what else your iPad can do. #1447748

I THOUGHT I recognized this ...

No idea what you're talking about regarding the IPad...I'm going to have to get "with it" one of these days. #10024612

Thanks so much, everyone! And to think this was just a quick 10-minute "test" on a new app! Wonder how a real attempt will come out? ;)

Jeff, I'm not here that often but you never disappoint.

Michelle, same to you - I see you more here than in person! That has to change!

John, great to "see" you, and thanks! :)

I'll be on a long flight in a few days; might be a good time to play with more features. If I do, I'll post them. You guys gave me incentive. Thanks! <3 #10025874

Mary, I'm so sorry, I forgot to say thank you to you, too! The reply window is at the bottom and I didn't scroll up far enough while typing, to be sure I replied to everyone. Anyway, thanks so much! :) #10026951

Thanks, and absolutely check it out, Lana! At least four of my photographer friends have already bought it after they saw what it can do. By the time I return from my upcoming trip, I hope to have more images to share, since I'll playing with it on my iPad during flights and layovers. I'll upload any good ones. ;) #10026990
