Donna, this very nice work and very beautiful... what did you do on the little girls back/wings... did you paint these in or did they come from a filter? Like the Flood filter????Sherrie Penny #192617

Thank you so much everyone. I'm so thrilled that you liked this piece. I had it in my head all weekend and was finally able to get it to work out like I wanted. I have very little PS skill and most of it is self taught. Here's what I did. First I opened the pic of the little girl and cut her out. I then opened a blank file and filled it with black. I moved the girl onto the black and created the reflecton with the flood filter. I also added a slight smart blur to the girl and cloned out her shoes. I added the dry brush filter to her and adjusted it according to taste. In the next layer I played around with the filter>render>lighting effects until I had a glow coming from the "moon". In a new layer I added the cloud horizon with a paintbrush downloaded from Walrus. I then added a new layer and added the moon with another paintbrush from the same collection. The wings were done with a paintbrush from dani3dfraxwings1 collection on a separate layer. I then adjusted the outer glow, bevel and emboss, and satin under layer styles just on the wings. The final touch was to add the stars to the background layer with assorted paintbrushes. I know this may be confusing. It was a lot of trial & error. I am uploading the original photo so you can see my inspiration. I'll be glad to answer any questions that you may have. Thank you again for taking the time to comment! It is most appreciated! #193989Sherrie H. Penny September 11, 2003
Donna, more questions... I know about the flood filter and I love it... I looked for WALRUS... found a site... not sure what you downloaded? and as far as the moon... is that a filter or an image you took?http://perso.club-internet.fr/cacou1/liens.html

Gorgeous work and very creative, Donna. You are very skilled at PS. One day, I hope to be able to do something like this. For now, I'll be content with just my little experiments. #2753035Jesse C. Plummer June 13, 2006
I generally use PS for making color corrections and simple alterations and adding copyright text, but I have to say, this is one of the best photoshopped images I have ever had the pleasure to view. Great Job, Great Concept!!!!--Jesse
