La Bella Luna

Aperture: 1:3.5, Shutter: 1/80 sec, ISO: 100, Location: Buchanan, VA, Date: 06/27/05.
Taken the morning after Dad left the spotlights on the house - there were beautiful moths (big & small) everywhere!
Decided to crop off portions of the wings for more artistic composition (although the wings were in great shape and I worked on a number of shots that include the whole wings). Other post-processing included increased color saturation, selective sharpening on the antennae and wing eyes, gaussian blur on a background layer for softer feel, resizing for Web.

Excellent composition SJ. So often I find "less is more". Well done. #2983105
